MISO should conisder if any generator that exceeds the interconnection limit stated in its GIA as a result of providing primary frequency response during a period of declining frequency should not be considered to be in violation of its GIA. MISO’s real-time operating systems and monitoring should address any reliability concerns (through either pre-contingent action or post-contingent action) that might or do arise from a generator exceeding its GIA limit.
