As previously discussed at the Credit Settlements Working Group, MISO incorrectly applied Schedule 24 charges to Grandfathered Carve Out (GFACO) transactions since the inception of the Schedule 24 charge type on June 1, 2006. The Settlements system was corrected from Operating Day October 1, 2016 forward. MISO will be issuing Miscellaneous Adjustments to refund owners of GFACOs on the S105 statements for Operating Day October 19, 2016, which will post on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. The refunds cover the period from June 1, 2006 to September 30, 2016 for a total of $7,391,430.33. The offsetting charges were calculated for the same period using the revised Schedule 24 methodology which excludes GFACOs. The charges will also appear as Miscellaneous Adjustments on the S105 statements for October 19, 2016.
