**MISO Carmel Control Center Evacuation Drill**

**MISO Carmel Control Center Evacuation Drill**

The MISO Carmel Control Center will be operating from the Sheridan Control Center from approximately 17:05 EST Thursday November 16, 2017 until approximately 05:30 EST Monday November 20, 2017 for an evacuation drill and building maintenance.  Phone communications should not be affected due to this operation. We will be transferring the following infrastructure/applications as part of the drill:

Energy Management System (EMS), Day-Ahead and Real-Time (DART), ICCP database, WebData, and RT Apps dB.

The infrastructure transfers will occur between 1700 EST and 1800 EST today

We expect 1 to 2 Unit Dispatch System (UDS) intervals will be missed and outbound set-points will have a short interruption.  During this time the use of the Dispatch Target Adjustment Mode may be used.  During this window, there will be two associated outages of the Portal web pages, Extensible Markup Language (XML), and interfaces (including outgoing XML notifications).

Market participants are NOT to switch to XML unless otherwise notified.

The ICCP database transfer will affect the Reliability Coordinator Footprint. During this rolling update, participants will experience a short interruption to their ICCP interface. During the interruption, outbound set-points will not be available and the last good signal should be followed until the update has been completed. Market participants are NOT to switch to XML during this update.

The MISO Shift Manager will send real-time updates and additional information if necessary.
